- Vinyl siding — The most popular choice for Atlanta residential. Low maintenance, 25 to 30 year lifespan, wide color selection, no painting. Lowest upfront cost.
- Fiber cement (James Hardie) — Best balance of durability, fire resistance, and appearance. Handles Atlanta heat and humidity without warping, holds paint 15+ years, rated for hail and wind. Roughly 1.5x to 2x vinyl cost.
- Wood and cedar siding — Best appearance for Craftsman, historic, and architectural homes. Highest maintenance — needs sealing or repainting every 3 to 7 years. 30 to 40+ year lifespan when maintained.
- Engineered composite (LP SmartSide and similar) — Wood-look without the rot vulnerability. Pre-primed and engineered to handle moisture better than natural wood. Strong middle option between vinyl and fiber cement.
- Siding repair — Storm damage, isolated rot, panel replacement, fascia and trim work
- Insurance claim siding — Hail and storm damage covered by your homeowner’s policy. We handle adjuster meetings and claim documentation.
