Atlanta Tree Removal & Trimming

Tree removal, limb trimming, storm-damage cleanup, and roof-protection trimming across metro Atlanta. Licensed, insured, owner-supervised. Insurance claim assistance when a tree hits the structure.

Tree work that protects your roof and your home

Atlanta’s heavy tree canopy is one of the reasons the city is beautiful. It’s also one of the biggest sources of roof damage and storm-claim work we see every year. Overhanging limbs scrape shingles, drop debris that clogs gutters, and crash through roofs during major storms. Hazard trees — the dead, leaning, or rot-compromised ones — come down at the worst possible moment.

LB Roofing handles tree removal, trimming, and storm-damage cleanup as part of our larger property-services work. When a tree comes down on a roof during a storm, we handle both the removal and the roof claim end-to-end — one contractor, one invoice, one warranty.

Frequently asked questions

How much does tree removal cost in Atlanta?+
Typically $400 to $2,500 per tree depending on size, location, and difficulty. Small trees (under 30ft, clear access) $400-$800. Medium (30-60ft) $700-$1,500. Large (60+ft, near structures or power lines) $1,500-$2,500+. Stump grinding is usually separate, $100 to $400.
Will insurance cover a tree that fell on my roof?+
Yes, if it fell during a covered event (storm, severe wind). Removal of the tree from your roof is typically covered as part of the structural damage claim. Removal of a tree that fell in the yard without hitting anything is usually NOT covered. We handle the structural and roof claim end-to-end including the tree removal.
Should I trim trees that overhang my roof?+
Yes — overhanging limbs are the #1 preventable cause of roof damage in Atlanta. They drop debris that clogs gutters, scrape shingles in wind, drop heavy limbs in storms, and provide a bridge for squirrels to reach the roof. Trim back any limb within 8 to 10 feet of the roof.
